Have you ever wondered what kind of people work at Amway? What happens behind the scenes at Amway?

I have, and I get to find out - and best of all, I get to share it with you.

The Interns Expose Amway blog will allow the interns at Amway to talk about some of their experiences and anything else that comes up in the life of an Amway intern.

We are also launching the Interns Expose Amway video series that will be hosted on this blog along with other social media sites out there! The video series will show the behind the scenes view at Amway from an intern’s perspective. There are buildings, departments, jobs, and facts you probably never even thought about that it takes to produce, deliver, and continue to grow the Amway business. It’s fun. It’s entertaining. It’s informative.

Trust me, we have some pretty interesting stories to tell, and tell we will! The experiences to share are just as unique as the people telling them. So let’s get to know some fascinating tidbits of information about some of the interns who will be sharing their stories on this blog:

She plays guitar, teaches a children’s choir and loves anything made with tomatoes…just not tomatoes themselves…its Abby Hoppen!

In 60 seconds just imagine what you can do…heat up a hot pocket, sneeze a few times, or maybe go one mile on the highway at 70mph…BORING (not anything very cool, I would say). But good news ladies and gentlemen, Derek Slenk can! He can solve a Rubik’s cube in less than one minute!

Charlotte Sasinowski not only has a cool last name, but she studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain (and she loves cupcakes…so feel free to send them her way) Delicioso! James Buck? He is all animals’ best friend. He has been lacto-ovo (milk and eggs) vegetarian his whole life and has never once had a taste of meat!

Being a businesswoman is no easy task!  Some of you out there may know that it takes dedication and skill, among other things. That is our friend, Claire Filiatreau! She is not only an intern at Amway, but an Amway Global Independent Business Owner as well! Go Claire!

Michael DeBolt was a Marine Corps Sergeant, and spent two combat tours in Iraq. He was actually one of the first troops across the Iraq border when the war first started!

He has not watched 10, not 19, but 22 different NBA teams play live! That’s Eric Schmidt and that’s dedication people!

Not a Jurassic Park fan, folks, Stefanie Maxim is terrified of dinosaurs, especially Veloca Raptors. However, she is left-handed so perhaps that unique attribute will come in handy (no pun intended) while fighting off the Raptors!

And myself, I guess some things people tell me are weird about myself are I have abnormally large scapulas when I scratch my back, can make a Chewbacca noise, and can sometimes rap. I’m quite peculiar I guess! I play piano. I think that is a good note to end on.

Kevin Douglas and Sara Gonzales, our college talent acquisition team, will also join us to keep everyone informed on the latest with intern opportunities, tips, and other useful information!

So welcome to the Interns Expose Amway blog and video series! We are so excited to share our experiences with you and hope you enjoy!
